I HAVE FINALLY GOTTEN MY HANDS ON TWO MURAKAMI BOOKS:
1. Dance Dance Dance
2. Kafka on The Shore

I saw two others by him, which I will get my hands on as soon as I am done with these two; apparently ran low on cash.

I am excited to start on one as soon as I finish off Ha Jin's 'Waiting'.

Futuristic-ally (wow such redundancy), I am going to get me some Jilly Cooper lovin'.

As far as I'm concerned, this blog seems to be dedicated to books and the abandonment.

I am not going to lie.... but I love History. I would watch documentaries of ancient times in the early mornings together with Dad; he is a HUGE fan when it comes to Chinese history, which seems to have me influenced.

1. Fireflies in December (Jennifer Erin Valent)
An insight on how the whites and coloured were separated, and how ruthless the KKK's were. It's truly a lovely story which talks about love, courage, and to speak out.

2. Portrait of A Lady (Henry James)
Found most parts of the book to be boring. But it does give an insight on how life used to be.

3. Waiting (Ha Jin)
Stuck in both New China and olden-day China with two women in a man's life; unsuccessful attempts to divorce his country-pumpkin of a wife to be with his girlfriend in the city. Brilliant read, full of arousal.

Three books read, one after another on my favourite month of the year.

I am going to search for books written by Murakami - I've heard interesting reviews.

I woke up to rather terrific news this morning.

I cannot wait to go away.

You know, I don't care if my family cancelled our trip to Japan because of what just happened... if I had the money right now, I'd still go anyway and won't listen to what people have to tell me.

I want to scream out the four letter word which makes people think otherwise of me. I'd still scream it anyway and won't care about what people think.

I had a dream of the late Leslie Nielsen, last night.

i realise that most books that i had been dealing with (so far) were published in 1988. the earliest being 1611.

i find the smell of old books divine.

i'm going to continue with enid blyton's 'claudine at st. claire' - 1944. what are the odds that 44 years later, would come the year of endless publishing.

it's everywhere.

is it greedy to ask for more? or more of a "ask and you shall receive"? i can only wonder...

oh... i have a slight obsession with books. any kind:
notebooks, old books, new books, tattered books, (especially) good books...

i love the smell of books. i love the sight of it equally.

they are my source of inspiration... at least they play a role in it.

Does anybody actually bother to read these days?
